The Information Services Department at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust are looking for a highly motivated information professional to lead in the development and provision of information to support the Trust’s business objectives. This role will lead Urgent and Emergency Care analytical support for the Operational and Clinical Divisions supporting them directly with information, analyses and other business support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the production, development and promotion of a range of informed data with analysis to support the development of planning, performance and monitoring of delivery programmes across Urgent & Emergence Care in LCHG. You will provide specialist advice and guidance on UEC performance information and on specialist analyses of a broad range of health related data sets. You will also work with system and regional colleagues as part of regular UEC reporting and monitoring. This includes 4 hour performance and SDEC activity flows.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (ULTH) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county. This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations. The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
You will have excellent analytical and presentational skills, must possess A-level qualifications or higher, or equivalent experience. You will also be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office packages and have a strong commitment to achieving results. Experience of SQL is desirable. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise a heavy workload to work effectively under pressure in order to meet the increasing timetable of deliverables. As part of a dedicated team there will be the need not only to be a team player but have the ability to work on your own initiative. Applicants will also be expected to show evidence of ongoing professional and managerial development.
