Summary
We are seeking a Farm Shop Assistant to join our team in Cheshire. This role is vital in providing excellent customer service and supporting our mission to promote quality local products. The position is based in Nantwich, and it offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing family business.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in the farm shop with professionalism and friendliness.
- Maintain the presentation of products through effective merchandising.
- Provide information about products, including ingredients and origin.
- Handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and sales.
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Support inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Friendly manner for customer inquiries.
- Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
- Experience of working on a deli counter or similar and handling meat products.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
