Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer looking for your next opportunity with a company that can offer a work / life balance with a long serving team of engineers?
We are an established and well-respected engineering business based in the East Midlands, looking for an experienced engineer to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on installation role, working across a varied range of commercial environments including MOD sites, offices, education, police stations, hospitals and hotels.
Alongside installation work, there will also be some service fault-finding, giving you plenty of variety rather than doing the same job every day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install commercial air conditioning systems across a variety of customer sites.
- Work on systems including split, VRF and VRV.
- Carrying out small duct work
- Complete pipework, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation and system commissioning.
- Read and work from drawings, specifications and installation plans.
- Carry out installation work to a high standard and in line with relevant regulations.
- Complete system testing and commissioning.
- Carry out some planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Assist with reactive fault finding and repairs when required.
- Identify and diagnose basic system faults.
- Work safely and maintain excellent health & safety standards.
- Complete job sheets and service documentation accurately.
- Communicate professionally with customers and site teams.
- Work alongside other engineers and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Travel to commercial customer sites across the East Midlands and surrounding areas.
YOU WILL HAVE:
- Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer.
- Strong commercial air conditioning installation experience.
- Experience working with VRF / VRV and split systems.
- Good knowledge of installation procedures, pipework and commissioning.
- Some previous service and maintenance experience.
- Ability to fault find and diagnose air conditioning systems.
- F-Gas qualification.
- Good understanding of health & safety and industry regulations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently while also working well within a team.
