Drivers Only
You must hold a full UK driving licence, have daily access to your own reliable vehicle and have appropriate business-use insurance.
The Role
As a Community Care & Support Worker, you'll support people in their own homes and communities to live as independently as possible.
Your role may include:
- Personal and intimate care.
- Medication support.
- Meal preparation and everyday household tasks.
- Supporting people to access their community.
- Promoting independence, choice and personal outcomes.
- Building positive relationships with individuals and their families.
- Completing digital care records.
- Following care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
Everything you do should promote dignity, choice, control, independence and wellbeing.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Female – Occupational Requirement as detailed above.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Business-use motor insurance.
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach.
- Confidence using a smartphone for digital care records.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota.
- Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred support.
Desirable but not essential:
- Previous social care experience.
- QCF Level 2 or equivalent in Health & Social Care.
- Knowledge of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
