Sighthill Pharmacy is a family-owned independent pharmacy located just north of Glasgow City Centre. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly and dedicated team.
Position:
- Pharmacy Dispenser
- Part time - at least 3 days per week (Wed/Thurs/Fri), full time also considered
- Competitive salary dependent on experience
- Permanent role
Main Duties:
- Supporting our busy MDS service
- Dispensing NHS and private prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency
- Delivering NHS services including Pharmacy First and smoking cessation
- Managing repeat prescriptions and liaising with local GP surgeries
- Assisting the pharmacist in the smooth running of daily operations
- Maintaining stock control and ensuring the dispensary is well organised
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) dispensing qualification is essential
- Previous experience in a UK community pharmacy setting desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on your own initiative, while thriving as part of a team
