We are recruiting for Support Workers to work with our client who has a Spinal Cord Injury living in their own home near the Paddock Wood area in Kent.
Our client enjoys going to concerts, boxing, football and travelling both in the UK and abroad, as part of your role you would support them there.
It is essential you are comfortable around dogs, our client has 2 small dogs at home.
Hours of Work:
8am – 1pm – Day shift (Double up)
8am – 10pm – Day shift
10pm – 8am – Sleeping nights
Rates of Pay:
£16.50 per hour – Day shift (Mon – Fri)
£17.50 per hour – Day shift (Sat – Sun)
Ten pound per hour – Sleeping nights (Mon – Sun) (4 hrs paid at up to £18.50 per hour)
£12.71 - Training
About you:
Required
- You must have a Full UK Driving License, it is a requirement to drive the clients Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle
- You must be comfortable around dogs
- Enthusiastic personality and positive outlook on life
- Flexible to work as part of a team on a rota basis
Desirable
- Registered on the DBS Updated Service
- Experience of working in care is preferred but specialist training is provided
An Enhanced DBS Check WILL be required
