Responsibilities
- Review and proofread property reports to identify and correct grammatical, typographical, and factual errors
- Conduct thorough fact checking to verify the accuracy of data and information within reports
- Edit content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to organisational style guidelines
- Assist with copywriting tasks related to property descriptions and proposals
- Ensure all reports meet high standards of quality before publication or submission
- Collaborate with writers and editors to improve overall report quality
- Utilise word processing software efficiently to produce polished documents
- Maintain organised records of revisions and proofreading activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in proofreading, editing, or journalistic roles specialising in property or related fields
- Strong skills in fact checking, copywriting, creative writing, and proposal writing
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- Proficiency in word processing programmes such as Microsoft Word or similar tools
- Demonstrated attention to detail with a meticulous approach to work
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy
- Previous experience working within journalism or property reporting is highly advantageous
