We are now looking for a passionate, experienced and creative Head Chef who shares our commitment to quality and who can lead our kitchen team with professionalism, energy and vision.
The Role
As Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, maintaining the high standards Collinsons is known for while bringing fresh ideas and leadership to the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing seasonal menus that reflect modern fine dining with locally sourced ingredients
- Maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation at all times
- Managing stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Managing kitchen costs, portion control and GP margins
- Working closely with front of house to deliver a seamless dining experience for our guests
- Maintaining the reputation Collinsons has built for consistency, quality and professionalism
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a chef who brings both experience and leadership to the role.
You will have:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a quality restaurant environment
- A strong background in fine dining or high-quality modern cuisine
- A passion for seasonal produce and creative menu development
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- High standards of food hygiene and kitchen management
- The ability to remain calm and focused during busy services
- A genuine pride in producing exceptional food
