Job description:
We are looking to employ a confident, enthusiastic and capable individual to become a Room Leader within our friendly nursery. As a senior member of staff, you would be responsible for leading and managing your team daily, ensuring the best outcomes amongst children, parents and staff. You would need to exhibit the ability to make important decisions, instil high standards amongst staff and ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with nursery guidance and current legislations, reporting to the nursery Manager as appropriate.

At Bovan Creek we are passionate about providing quality childcare, our setting will hold a maximum of 55 children, across 5 different aged rooms which are catered specifically for the needs and stage of children within them. We will be following aspects of the Montessori style learning approach and incorporating elements of Christian religious study into our curriculum, following the EYFS religious study guidance

Essential requirements:
· Relevant childcare qualification (minimum of Level 2)
· Previous experience leading a team
· Confident in addressing / supporting staff as required
· Developed knowledge of the EYFS and show effective strategies of implementation
· Exhibit good understanding of Safeguarding importance
Desirable requirements:
· Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate
· Relevant SENCO training and or knowledge
· Previous experience / knowledge with Montessori style learning
· Confident in additional language
Job Types: Zero hours contract, Part-time, Full-time
Pay: From £13.70 per hour

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
