Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within private homes, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Previous experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous, but full training will be provided. Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitise all designated areas within clients’ homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces
- Dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and polish furniture to maintain a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries or cleaning products as required
- Follow specific instructions provided by clients or supervisors to meet individual preferences
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored appropriately after use
- Maintain confidentiality and respect clients’ privacy at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in domestic cleaning, janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for delivering high-quality service
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
