Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ground Worker to join our team, responsible for assisting with various outdoor construction and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate diggers and dumpers to a high standard. Individuals must be able to run and manage jobs and materials they need. Work van supplied to the right candidate, pay based on skills and experience. We are for either a full time employed or on a self employed basis through CIS but employed is preffered.
- Site preparation, including clearing debris and organising materials
- Digging trenches, holes, and foundations using machinery
- Handling and transporting materials around the site safely and efficiently
- Installing groundwork components such as drainage systems, kerbs, tarmac and concrete
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Operating machinery such as compactors, diggers and dumpers
- Reporting any safety hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in ground work is essential
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Valid UK driving licence is mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions carefully
- Must have good timekeeping skills

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
