Martins bakery is a family run business where baking dates back through generations to 1865! We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated baker to join our friendly team here in St Austell, Cornwall.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the bakery sector with a passion for creating high quality bread and rolls. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where baking skills are valued and developed further. Commercial bakery experience required please.
The successful applicant will be responsible for weighing ingredients, mixing doughs, baking and ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained during their shift.
Early morning starts, hours depending on day and time of year.
6 days a week
Monday to Saturday, 1 - 3am start to about 8am finish (approx)
Breaks 2 x 20 mins
Pay depends on skills and experience
Applicants must be reliable and punctual with previous bakery experience and work well as part of a team. You should also be confident in your ability to manage tasks alone when required. If you prefer to work in a smaller family run bakery rather than a large more factory style setting and have the qualities we are looking for then this could be the perfect position for you!
