Shelly's is an independent community pharmacy located in North Kensington and are looking for a capable and dedicated Pharmacist Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensure compliance with procedures and regulations, and deliver exceptional patient services.
This role requires a strong understanding of pharmacy management, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service. The Pharmacist Manager will play a vital role in coordinating medication supply, supervising staff, and supporting clinical services within the pharmacy setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with standards
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, including foundation trainees, technicians, and counter assistants
- Manage ordering, stock control, and inventory checks
- Ensure accurate dispensing of prescriptions using the TITAN PMR system
- Provide expert advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and patient care strategies
- Maintain detailed records of prescriptions and patient interventions on the PMR system
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes and support clinical programmes
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations within the pharmacy environment
Experience
- Proven experience as a GPhC-registered Pharmacist
- Prior management experience within a pharmacy setting is preferred, showcasing leadership capabilities
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with patients, healthcare providers, and team members
