Join the team at St Gabriel’s and play an important part in creating a clean, welcoming and well-maintained environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Evening Cleaner to join our Cleaning Team. Working three hours each evening from Monday to Friday, you will help ensure classrooms, offices, communal areas and other parts of the School are maintained to a consistently high standard. We can offer some flexibility around your start time, which can be between 4pm and 6pm. This is a permanent role working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for 44 weeks of the year.
The role will involve a variety of general and deep-cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, cleaning washrooms and replenishing supplies. During school holidays, you will also help with planned deep-cleaning projects. You will work as part of a supportive team, while taking responsibility for completing your own allocated areas efficiently and thoroughly.
About you
You will take pride in your work and have a friendly, professional and proactive approach. Reliability and punctuality are important, as is a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. An understanding of basic health and safety procedures, including manual handling and COSHH, would be beneficial.
