What you’ll do:
- Provide person-centred support for people with mental health conditions.
- Assist with daily living skills, medication, and emotional wellbeing.
- Use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies to promote safety and independence.
- Encourage community participation, healthy routines, and meaningful activities.
- Work closely with families, professionals, and the wider team.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with people with mental health conditions (essential).
- Empathy, patience, and resilience.
- Good communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Flexible approach to working hours (including evenings/weekends).
Desirable (but not essential):
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Training in Mental Health Awareness or Positive Behaviour Support.
