Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and independence
- Support clients in adhering to personalized care plans designed to meet their specific health and wellness needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of loneliness
- Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision or according to care protocols
- Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent, quality care
- Drive clients safely to appointments or errands as needed, ensuring compliance with road safety standards
- Document care activities accurately in accordance with organizational procedures and IT systems
Requirements
- level 2/3 in health and social care or a willingness to work toward.
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding of care instructions and documentation
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans electronically
- Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with clients, families, and team members
- Knowledge of care plans and adherence to health and safety protocols is desirable
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
