An excellent opportunity has arisen at WHP Telecoms Ltd to join our existing Stores team in the Carryduff, Belfast area.
The Stores Supervisor will ensure that the warehouse and stores operation runs efficiently, safely and accurately. They are responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, control and distribution of stock while managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and inventory.
The key aspects of the role are:
- Regular review of stores to maintain a strong H&S culture
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
- Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
- Ensuring safety of staff and visitors
- Oversee and arrange for regular checks of long-standing storage and arrange for kit to be returned if required
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Assisting day to day operations where required
- Liaise with clients and assist on internal and external audits
- Plan future capacity requirements
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, standards and accreditations.
- Store, maintain and return client kit
- Work alongside the Logistics Manager and as and when required.
- Maintain and record all relevant certification for equipment/vehicles such as racking and FLT’s
- Ensuring cleanliness inside and outside the warehouse
- Any other duties that the company may reasonably determine from time to time
Person Specification:
- Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Forklift truck licence
- Good IT skills and understanding of warehouse management systems
