Part Time Cleaning Operative – Faversham Central Public Facilities and Faversham Recreation Ground
Location: Faversham, Kent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Faversham Central Public Facilities
Hours/Working days: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2 x 3 hour split shifts - 7am - 10am and then 4pm - 7pm (6 hours total per day)
Faversham Recreation Ground
Hours/Working days: Sundays and Mondays (Mornings) 4 hours per shift
Monitor Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable and conscientious Cleaning Operative to clean and maintain public conveniences in Faversham town centre and Faversham Recreation Ground.
Applicants must live locally or within a short travelling distance of Faversham due to the split shifts.
Main Duties
- Cleaning toilets, washbasins, floors, fixtures and surrounding areas
- Replenishing consumables, including soap, toilet paper and hand-drying supplies
- Carrying out regular checks throughout the day
- Reporting faults, damage, vandalism or maintenance issues promptly to the manager
- Ensuring the facilities are clean, safe and presentable for members of the public
- Following company health and safety procedures at all times
About You
You will need to be:
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in public toilet facilities
- Able to manage a split-shift working pattern
- Polite and professional when dealing with members of the public
- Willing to provide holiday and sickness cover when required
- Local to Faversham due to the attendance times and split shifts
Previous cleaning experience is preferred however training will be provided.
