We wish to recruit a new and vibrant Nurse (RGN) in either Nursing or Senior Nursing roles. We are therefore happy to consider applications from recently qualified nurses as well as individuals with more experience. You will join the Nurse team and work on the floor either during the varying day shifts (7 to 2 / 2 to 8) or occasionally during the Night (8 to 7).

Hillside is a professionally run care home who has a conscientious, friendly and welcoming team.
We are finding that the level of clinical care required for individual residents has increased over the years. If you are joining as a Senior Nurse then it would be desirable if you were trained in catheter management, familiar with peg feeds, syringe drivers, the use of oxygen and perhaps have had some experience of palliative care for example. Including strong clinical skills you will also need to possess good leadership & people management skills, showing empathy and an ability to motivate.
Part of your responsibilities for either role would also include contributing to the care plans which are now organised electronically on a simple to use system, ensuring that these important plans are being reviewed and acted upon appropriately. You will therefore be well organised and demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
Clearly, you must also possess excellent spoken and written English skills in order to communicate with residents; their families; other agencies and your colleagues. You must have a valid NMC PIN (RGN). All roles are dependent upon a satisfactory DBS check.
