Duties
- Constructing foundations, walls, and other brickwork using a variety of materials and techniques
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised masonry equipment safely and efficiently
- Assisting with carpentry, roofing, and welding tasks as required on-site
- Preparing surfaces and materials for construction activities
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and to high quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area throughout each shift
Requirements
- Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or general construction work
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as welding apparatus
- Knowledge of carpentry, roofing, and welding is desirable but not essential
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work as part of a team with a strong focus on safety standards
