We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team in a varied Front of House and Food & Beverage role.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll be at the heart of the clubhouse operation.
From welcoming members at reception to serving food and drinks in our clubhouse, you'll play an important role in ensuring everything runs smoothly and that our members and guests have a great experience.
This role can be part time or full time (20 - 40 hours per week). They are looking to pay up to £13.50 per hour (for people 21 and over) depending on experience. The hourly rate for younger applicants will be based on age and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Front of House:
- Welcome and assist members and guests upon their arrival.
- Manage tee-time bookings and support front desk operations.
- Handle general inquiries and resolve customer queries professionally.
- Support membership renewals and new member onboarding.
- Keep the reception area organised and presentable.
Food & Beverage:
- Prepare and serve food and drinks in the clubhouse, ensuring a high standard of service.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming bar, dining, and kitchen area.
- Assist with stock checks and general organisation.
- Support events and busy service periods.
- Help maintain the overall presentation of the clubhouse and patio areas.
What We Are Looking For
- A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Previous hospitality experience preferred.
- Proactive and reliable team player.
- Ability to work in a varied environment, with busy periods during peak times and a stead pace at quieter times.
- Basic computer skills (for bookings, enquiries and general administration).
- Food hygiene certification or a willingness to work towards obtaining one.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours during peak seasons and events.
