For people leaving hospital, adjusting to life at home can be a difficult time. Helping someone get their essential shopping, pick up their prescription or get the heating turned on can make all the difference for them to feel safe at home. We would like you to: - Be available to volunteer on a regular basis. - Minimum of 2 hours a week commitment, service operating times 10am to 8pm, 7 days a week. Volunteering can be flexible to suit the volunteer during the service operating hours. - You will need some availability during 10am to 6pm weekday for training/shadowing purposes. - Be able to commit to volunteering for a minimum of 6 months. - Ideally live in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucester. - We would like you ideally to hold a driving licence for at least 2 years which allows you to drive in the UK you can still volunteer without a driving licence as long as you are happy to travel and can get to where you need to volunteer. *Due to the nature of this role, applicants must undergo Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check. Applicants will be asked to provide ID documents in support of the DBS check.* Diversity is something we celebrate.
