Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, supporting food and beverage operations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Our current restaurant hours are 12pm to 8pm, it is preferred if you can work during these set hours.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take accurate orders from guests, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent guest service standards
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and service
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary duties
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service equipment in line with health regulations
- Manage multiple tables effectively through strong time management skills
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Basic maths skills for billing and cash handling purposes
- Experience in serving or food preparation is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent guest service skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and contribute positively to the team environment
