Factory Production Operative – Popcorn & Candyfloss Manufacturing
Overview
Macey’s is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Factory Production Operative to join our growing production team. This hands-on role involves the manufacture, packaging, and quality control of our popcorn and candyfloss products in a fast-paced food production environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for learning production processes, operating equipment safely, and ensuring products are manufactured and packed to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and carry out the production of popcorn and candyfloss products.
- Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Bag and seal popcorn products to company standards.
- Fill and package candyfloss into tubs accurately and neatly.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures, including HACCP requirements.
- Carry out quality checks on products throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Record production information accurately and report any issues to supervisors.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
- Assist with machine cleaning, setup, and basic maintenance where required.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

- Basic numeracy skills for production measurements and record keeping.
