About the Role
Justteachers are seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Shipley. This position offers a varied and rewarding workload, including delivering lessons, leading small group interventions, and providing high-level classroom support. The successful candidate will work across different year groups, helping to maintain high standards of teaching and learning while supporting pupils to achieve their academic goals. This role is ideal for a proactive HLTA looking to further develop their experience within education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Lead interventions to support pupil progress.
- Assist with planning and classroom preparation.
- Monitor and record student achievement.
- Support behaviour management strategies.
- Work across a range of year groups when required.
Requirements
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience within a primary school setting.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
