Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality patient care within our healthcare facility. Duties
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation
- Help with patient mobilisation and repositioning to prevent pressure sores
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a caring atmosphere
- Assist nursing staff with clinical procedures and administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
- Prior experience in patient care or healthcare settings is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of human anatomy and basic medical terminology is advantageous
- Ability to administer medications following proper procedures and protocols
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach towards patients
- Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certification or qualification in healthcare assistance is preferred but not mandatory
