Job Description: Water Cooler Sanitiser – Self-Employed

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a practical, dependable person to support our growing Essex branch as a Self-Employed Water Dispenser Sanitiser.
This role involves visiting offices, schools, and workplaces across the area to clean and sanitise our water dispensers. You’ll be working independently, planning your own day and travelling between customer sites.
The role would suit someone who has previously worked self-employed, or someone who is comfortable managing their own workload and organising their time. It offers a good level of flexibility and can fit around your schedule, provided the agreed work is completed reliably and to the required standard.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys being out on the road, working independently, and taking pride in doing a practical job properly.
Workload
The workload is consistent and manageable, with approximately 210 to 240 coolers serviced per month.
The work is stable and predictable each month, allowing you to plan your time while still having regular work and income.
Area Coverage
You will be covering customer sites in and around:
- Basildon, Wickford, Billericay, Brentwood, Canvey Island
Ideally, you will be based centrally, around the Basildon area. Travel to the furthest locations is approximately 15 miles.
Earnings & Hours
Typical earnings are around £2,300 per month.
This role may suit someone looking for flexible working, such as school-hour flexibility, semi-retirement, or someone who prefers to plan their own working day. While there is flexibility in how the work is organised, the monthly workload must be completed on time and to AquAid’s standards.
You will invoice AquAid monthly for the work completed.
No Outlay Required
There is no initial outlay required, apart from having access to your own suitable vehicle. AquAid will provide the training, uniform, sanitising equipment, and job system needed to carry out the work.
After a probationary period, you will be required to have appropriate insurance in place for using your vehicle as part of the role.
