Creagh Concrete is a leading supplier of concrete products and solutions across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting a Class 1 Lorry Driver to join our transport team based at our Toomebridge facility.
The Role
Reporting to the Transport Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of concrete products to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner

Carry out deliveries to construction sites throughout Ireland

Load and unload products, ensuring loads are secure

Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects

Accurately complete delivery paperwork and tachograph records

Adhere to road traffic legislation, driver hours and company policies

Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and customer service
Essential Criteria
-
Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence
-
Valid Driver CPC qualification
-
Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience (preferred)

Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport legislation

Strong safety awareness and a professional attitude
Desirable
-
Experience delivering to construction or manufacturing sites
-
HIAB experience (training can be provided if required)
