Nursery Assistant
Hourly: £12.71 per hour
Monday - Friday, All year round. 11:00am - 14:30pm
Flitwick Day Nursery is excited to welcome a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to our team on a full-time basis working 32 hours per week.
The nursery is just a dew minutes from Woburn Centre PARC, only a minute from Flitwick railway station and 9 minutes from Ampthill. Flitwick Day Nursery is perfectly located for your commute to Bedford, Luton, Dunstable, Milton Keynes, London and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
As a Nursery Assistant Lunch Cover, you will:

Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources for children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.

Understand and support the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.

Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene within the nursery and promote these daily through routines.

Build and maintain professional relationships, reporting any complaints or concerns to management in line with company policies and procedures.

Support a strong key person approach to help children form secure attachments and provide cover for children when colleagues are absent.

Attend regular team meetings to remain updated on priorities, developments, and company policies and procedures.
What we are looking for:

Fluent in written and spoken English – essential.

Previous experience working with children or within an Early Years environment – desirable.

A caring, positive, and enthusiastic approach.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices – desirable, but training can be provided.
