Job Summary
We are looking for a warm, creative and commercially minded person to join Rosara on a full-time maternity-cover contract from the end of October 2026. As a key member of the shop team, you will provide an outstanding welcome to every visitor, help customers discover our carefully selected ranges and ensure the shop always looks inviting, inspiring and ready for business.
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in presentation and is motivated by creating memorable customer experiences. You will work closely with the Retail Manager and colleagues to maximise sales, manage stock effectively and bring fresh ideas to Rosara’s retail spaces.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively welcoming and engaging with clients to optimise sales of goods, plants and events.
- Offering every visitor a friendly, professional welcome and directing enquiries to the right colleague.
- Providing knowledgeable service, processing sales and promoting Rosara products, offers and wider Rosara services.
- Keeping displays attractive, well stocked, accurately priced and aligned with the Rosara look.
- Sharing product stories and sustainability credentials with confidence.
- Receiving, checking, pricing and storing stock, while maintaining accurate records and tidy stock areas.
- Supporting ordering, stocktakes, seasonal planning, artisan ranges and merchandising activity.
- Encouraging customer feedback and sign-ups to support future promotions and repeat visits.
- Contributing creative ideas, signwriting and social media content to build awareness and drive sales.
- Administrative tasks as required.
About You

- Organised, dependable and comfortable balancing customer service with practical retail tasks.
- Creative, with a strong eye for presentation, detail and commercial opportunities.
- A collaborative team member who communicates clearly and takes initiative.
- Comfortable learning about products, suppliers and sustainability stories.
- Computer literate.
- Retail, hospitality or customer-facing experience would be beneficial.
