Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in a culinary role. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards
- Assist with food presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support meal preparation during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Follow all health and safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during serving hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related kitchen role is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
- Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak times
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new culinary techniques
