Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Sweeper Driver to join our highly established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleanliness and maintaining safe/tidy sites across various customers thoughout the NorthWest. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for ensuring a high standard of work and who has a commitment to safety and customer service. The position involves operating a Road Sweeper wagon and requires adherence to all relevant road safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maximising the use of the Sweeper to sweep new house build sites, car park, roads and other areas
- Gully sucking, jet washing and hand lancing
- Building relationships with site members, to ensure a high level of customer service
- Maintaining accurate documentation and logs in accordance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with operations, clients, and team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered
- Follow all health and safety regulations, and company policies at all times
- Report any vehicle defects or accidents promptly to management for appropriate action
Experience
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably with in a similar environment, and left hand driver experience, but not essential
- Valid HGV Class 2 license and CPC
- Experience working within a customer focused role
- Strong understanding of road safety
This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their work and prioritise safety. Applicants should possess a valid HGV, class 2 licence, relevant experience in driving a class 2 vehicle and possess a professional attitude towards customer service. Ideally the wagon will be kept in the yard in Macclesfield, however, people who are out of the area, do have the option to keep the sweeper at home, providing it is kept securely.
