You'll be responsible for ensuring our fleet is well presented, ready for customers, and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles when they are returned from customers.
- Prepare and inspect vehicles before customer collection or delivery.
- Record any damage, wear and tear, or maintenance requirements.
- Arrange servicing, MOTs, repairs, tyre replacements, and bodywork with our approved suppliers.
- Coordinate bookings with mechanics, body shops, and other service providers.
- Transport vehicles to and from garages, repair centres, and suppliers.
- Photograph vehicles and upload listings to our website and online platforms.
- Ensure vehicle descriptions and photographs are accurate and up to date.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional showroom.
- Keep vehicle documentation and inspection records up to date.
- Monitor vehicle readiness and keep the operations team informed.
- Assist with stock movements and vehicle logistics.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks including fluid levels, tyre condition, warning lights, and cleanliness.
- Ensure vehicles are fuelled/charged and ready for customers.
- Support the team with general fleet operations as required.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Confident driving a range of vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Comfortable using smartphones and basic computer systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
- Professional and presentable.
- Previous experience in the motor trade, vehicle rental, dealerships, or fleet management would be an advantage but is not essential.
Desirable Skills
- Experience carrying out vehicle inspections.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules.
- Experience taking professional vehicle photographs.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience using vehicle management or stock management systems.
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
