Salary: From £35,800 per annum
Location: South London (SE1) with occasional travel to East London (E1)

The Complete Works (TCW) is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Officer to become the lead HR presence within one of our schools.
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and making a genuine difference to staff wellbeing and organisational culture. Working closely with the Senior Leadership of the schools and the Head of HR, you will play a pivotal role in supporting managers, leading recruitment, managing employee relations and ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and compliance.

The Role
As HR Officer, you will take ownership of HR operations within your designated school while working as part of the wider central HR team.
You will support managers through employee relations matters, oversee recruitment and safer recruitment compliance, coordinate onboarding and induction processes, maintain accurate HR records, manage absence processes and contribute to staff wellbeing initiatives.
You will also play a key role in developing positive working relationships across the organisation and ensuring that our HR practices remain compliant, supportive and aligned with our values.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- CIPD Level 5 qualification
- Experience working across the employee lifecycle within an HR role.
- Experience supporting employee relations casework.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience managing recruitment processes and compliance checks.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with colleagues.
