We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Bulk Powder Tanker Driver to join our team on a self-employed basis.
This is a long-term opportunity offering a constant flow of work Monday–Friday, with the occasional Saturday shift.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of bulk powder materials to customer sites.
Duties will include:
* Driving a Class 1 bulk powder tanker safely and efficiently.
* Completing deliveries Monday–Friday.
* Occasional Saturday work as and when required.
* Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
* Safely loading, transporting and discharging bulk powder.
* Completing delivery paperwork and relevant records.
* Complying with drivers’ hours, tachograph and road transport legislation.
* Following all site and company health & safety procedures.
* Reporting vehicle defects and any issues promptly.
* Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site personnel.
Essential Requirements
* Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
* Full and up-to-date Driver CPC.
* Valid MPQC qualification.
* Previous experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles.
* Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations.
* Reliable, punctual and professional.
* Strong commitment to health and safety.
* Able to work independently.
