Overview
Working as part of a team within the Warehouse department, the role is responsible for issuing material, packaging and consumables to production in line with SOP’s and demand. The role also covers organising the despatch finished goods to an outsourced logistics provider and working alongside stock control procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurate picking of loads
- Transfer of roll stock from extrusion to thermoforming
- Despatch of finished goods
- Unloading deliveries
- Onsite movement of granulate, cartons, consumables and Finished Goods
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping within the warehouse areas and ensure cleaning schedule is followed.
- Accurate recording of stock movement information
- Perform regular stock-takes & racking inspections (where applicable)
Professional Qualifications
- Good standard of general education
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Current CTB,LLOP (Ride on truck) and VNA licences.
Experience
- 2 years’ previous experience within a warehouse capacity
- An appreciation of safe working practises in a warehouse environment
- An understanding of warehousing and stock control practice
- Previous experience of working within a pressurised fast-moving environment, meeting tight deadlines.
- Previous experience of team working
- Previous experience of data collection and entry, manual or computerised
