We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children’s Home Registered Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a children’s residential care facility. In this vital role, you will ensure the safety, well-being, and development of children in your care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. You will have the autonomy and trust to make decisions about the day-to-day running of the home, develop your team, implement new ideas, and create a service you are proud of, all within the relevant regulatory and safeguarding frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall management of the children’s home, ensuring high standards of care and safety are consistently met.
- Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans tailored to each child's individual needs, including emotional, educational, and behavioural support.
- Supervise and support staff team members, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to promote a motivated and professional workforce.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices governing children’s residential care.
- Oversee daily operations.
- Promote a nurturing environment that encourages children’s independence while ensuring their safety at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience within a Children's Home as a Registered Manager.
- Strong leadership skills with previous management.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to children’s residential services and safeguarding protocols.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans that address individual needs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams with enthusiasm and confidence while maintaining high standards of care.

Pay: £60,000.00-£67,500.00 per year
