Aroha Escapes is a growing joinery company specialising in high-quality modular buildings, garden rooms and extensions. We’re looking for a qualified, time-served Joiner to join our team and play an important role in delivering our projects to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role working as part of a skilled team, with projects ranging from bespoke garden rooms, and large modular buildings through to extensions.
The Role
As a Joiner at Aroha Escapes, you’ll be involved in the construction and installation of timber structures and internal finishes, working both in our workshop and on site.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out high-quality joinery and carpentry work
- Studwork, roofing and timber framing
- Fitting doors, windows, skirting, and other joinery
- Working from drawings and specifications
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Working as part of a team to keep projects on schedule
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, accuracy and finish
About You
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, a great outlook and has a genuine eye for detail.
Essential:
- Qualified or time-served Joiner / Carpenter
- Solid practical experience in construction and joinery
- Good understanding of timber construction and building methods
- Able to read and work from drawings
- Confident using a wide range of hand and power tools
- High standards of workmanship
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience with first and second fix joinery
- Experience working from detailed construction drawings

Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
