Sales Executive Higher Education and Further Education
London - 35 hours a week
£45,000- £60,000 + Commission

As we continue expanding our EMEA team, we are looking for an ambitious and consultative Sales Executive to help grow our presence across the Higher Education and Further Education sectors.

About the Role
As a Sales Executive, you will work closely with universities, colleges and educational institutions to understand their challenges and identify where immersive technology can create meaningful impact.
You'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing strategic customer relationships and guiding prospects through the full sales journey, from initial engagement through to contract close.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with Higher Education and Further Education institutions across your territory.
- Identify, qualify and progress new business opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, sector research, partner engagement, events and marketing-generated leads.
- Conduct consultative discovery meetings to understand customer requirements, challenges and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with Immersive Consultants to deliver engaging demonstrations, workshops and proof-of-concept sessions.
- Build compelling business cases and proposals that clearly articulate the value of Igloo solutions.
- Manage commercial discussions, procurement processes and contract negotiations.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and opportunity records within CRM systems.
- Work closely with marketing, technical and customer success teams throughout the customer journey.
- Represent Igloo Vision at industry events, exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings.
- Contribute to the growth of Igloo's education sector strategy by sharing market insight, customer feedback and emerging opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience selling into the Higher Education and/or Further Education sector.
- Proven success managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation through to negotiation and contract close.
- Demonstrable experience securing and managing solution-based sales opportunities valued at £100,000+.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges and align solutions to strategic objectives.
- Experience using MEDDIC or a comparable sales qualification methodology.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
- Commercially driven with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Desirable Experience
- Experience selling AV, immersive technology, XR, simulation, learning technology or software solutions.
- Knowledge of procurement frameworks and buying processes within Higher Education and Further Education.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders across IT, Learning Technology, Estates, Innovation, Research or Academic departments.
- Passion for emerging technologies and their application within education.
