The role
We are seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to join our growing team in Walsall, Birmingham. This role is key to the successful delivery of our projects across the region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee site operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Work closely with project managers and other engineers to meet project deadlines
- Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction activities
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain quality standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to site teams
- Monitor project budgets and timelines
- Ensure all work is carried out to specification
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of construction processes and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software, such as AutoCAD
- Electrical experience is a plus but not essential
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments
