The Clifton Arms Hotel we are now looking for an experienced chef to join our amazing team
We are looking for a dedicated, friendly & passionate individual for our 4 star operation. The ability to work well within a team is essential. The shift pattern is 5 days working 10 hours per shift with two days off or the option of working 4 days on and 3 days off working 11.25 hours per shift. Tronc (service charge) payable monthly.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Operation of a designated kitchen area during preparation and service
2. Be aware of food storage procedure
3. Communicate with kitchen management on all aspects of their kitchen area.
4. To help in ensuring kitchen is maintained and cleaned to a hygienic standard,
especially at the end of day when cleaning schedules are in place.
5. Communicates with Sous Chef and Exec Chef and Head Chef in personal development, training, appraisals and long term objectives.
General Responsibilities
1. To be a valued member of the Clifton Arms team, helping and advising colleagues where required, promoting the image of the business, and that of the company, at all times through active sales activity and a positive approach.
2. To be aware of the security of the hotel and the people in it. Be familiar with all emergency procedures and act positively both in the event of an emergency and to prevent one.
3. To be aware of and ensure that those responsible to you are aware of all legislation that is relevant to your work

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
