An exciting opportunity has opened for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
The mission of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be to maintain all company assets and property as instructed; to support and influence company total productive maintenance (TPM) program; and to transfer knowledge of maintenance techniques to support team autonomy.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer duties include:
· Cleaning and top level maintenance of all machinery.
· Involvement in countermeasures & corrective actions for all plant and equipment defects.
· Ensure maintenance output is respecting all quality & technical requirements.
· Utilize maintenance task board as instructed.
· Work to the defined TPM programme.
· Ensure maintenance activities are consistent with planned output.
· Take part in countermeasures for production continuation in case of unplanned events.
· Immediate escalation of issues impacting production to Production Manager or delegate.
· Fork lift truck & crane operation (as required).
· Respect company safety and ergonomic rules at all times.
Required skills:
- Sound knowledge of heavy engineering practices.
- Sound knowledge of welding and fabrication processes and techniques.
- Sound knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read drawings & technical documentation.
- Attention to detail.
- Fork lift truck & crane operating licence.
- Operation of hand tools and machine tools.
- Use of measuring equipment
Normal hours of work:
Alternating shift of:
06.00 to 14.30 Mon – Thurs, 06.00 to 11.00 Friday, with a 20 minute paid break Mon-Thurs, a total of 39 hours per week.
13.30 to 22.00 Mon – Thurs, 11.00 to 16.00 Friday, with a20 minute paid break Mon-Thurs, a total of 39 hours per week.
