Personal Assistant (PA) / Support Worker – No Experience Needed (Full Training Provided)
Warrington
£13.50 per hour
12-hour shifts | 3–4 shifts per week (including weekends on rotation)
About the Role
I’m looking for a reliable, positive, and down-to-earth person to join my small team of Personal Assistants supporting me to live independently.
I have spinal muscular atrophy, which means I require full support with daily living. However, this is not a passive care role. I live an active, social, and independent life, and I’m looking for someone who wants to be part of that.
This role is ideal if you’re:
- Looking for meaningful, hands-on work
- Interested in health and social care (or exploring it)
- A graduate or school leaver figuring out your next step
- Someone who values real human connection over routine care work
No prior care experience is needed. Full training will be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be supporting me with a mix of daily living and personal care, including:
- Personal care and hygiene support
- Assisting with health-related needs
- Supporting me in my home and day-to-day life
- Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean environment
- Supporting during waking nights
- Helping me stay active socially and with family life
Shift Pattern
- 12-hour shifts
- 3–4 shifts per week (alternating weekly pattern)
- Includes day, night, and weekend shifts (rotational)
- Flexibility required for occasional additional or emergency cover
What I’m Looking For
This is more about who you are than what you’ve done.
You should be:
- Reliable and committed – I depend on consistency
- Positive and easy to get along with
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Physically capable (manual handling involved, full training provided)
- Clean, organised, and respectful in my home
- Have a good sense of humour – genuinely important
- Flexible when needed
Essential:
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Confident driving (you will use my adapted vehicle)
What You’ll Get
- £13 per hour
- Full, paid training – no experience required
- A supportive, respectful working environment
- The chance to build real, transferable skills in care and independence support
- A role where you can genuinely make a difference every shift
Why This Role Is Different
This isn’t your typical care job.
You’re not working in a facility or rushing between clients. You’re part of a small, consistent team, supporting one person to live life on their terms.
If you want a job where:
- You feel valued
- You actually enjoy the people you work with
- Your work has clear impact
…this is worth applying for.
