Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various aspects of production operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Handle materials effectively, including loading, unloading, and transporting components as needed.
- Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during the production process.
- Work with tooling and hand tools to fabricate and assemble parts accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to logic controllers and machinery operation.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.
- Document production activities as required, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using SolidWorks for design purposes is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery and systems.
- Familiarity with milling processes and equipment is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to fabricate and assemble components with precision.
- A logical approach to problem-solving, with the capability to work independently or as part of a team.
