You will need to have experience of carrying out repairs/maintenance in a housing association, local authority or similar environment and have an understanding of older people and those with disabilities. For this particular position, we are seeking a multi-skilled tradesperson who is competent to undertake a range of tasks, including installation of grab rails, and carpentry and minor ground works, eg concrete ramping/steps. Experience in PVC Window and Door installation or Plumbing is desirable.
As you will be visiting clients in their own homes you will need to have a full driving licence and a vehicle will be provided for this purpose. A DBS check will be carried out on the successful candidate.
