Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 2pm -10pm (Lates) with flexibility to work outside of these hours if required
Annual Salary: £29744
Annual Shift Allowance: £594
Purpose of Job:
QA Technicians have an integral role in collaborating with most departments on site to assure the food safety and quality of the products we supply into the food chain.
Being conscientious with an eye for detail you will complete varied product, WIP and ingredient inspections; audit processes and test equipment to monitor compliance to specification or standard.
You will also have to prompt deal with instances where results are found to be outside of specification or standard in a timely manner to ensure any waste is minimised.
Result Areas:
- Follow the minimum testing schedules and ensure products are tested for sensory, physical, chemical and microbiological properties
- Process verification checks
- Scales
- Temperature controlled equipment
- Chemical concentration
- Verify and monitor hygiene standards
- Complete QA records as required
- Conduct audits

- Report out of specification test results as required
- Completion of QA documentation ensuring documentation is complete for
- Other food safety / quality activities as requested

Knowledge, Experience, Skills:
- Conscientious
