Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Nail Technician to operate independently within our beauty salon. in addition to a nail desk there is also a lash/brow bed for use. As a self-employed professional, you will provide specialised nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and other nail treatments, to a diverse clientele. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build your own client base while working in a professional environment that supports your growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for beauty treatments, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art in accordance with client preferences and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace following health and safety regulations.
- Build and retain a loyal client base through exceptional service and personalised care.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimise daily bookings.
- Promote additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction and maximise revenue opportunities.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, colour techniques, and industry best practices.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are sterilised and maintained properly to uphold hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician with a portfolio of work demonstrating skill and creativity.
- Experience as a lash/brow artist would also be a bonus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional advice.
- Self-motivated with organisational skills to manage appointments independently.
- Valid certifications or licences required by local regulations for nail technicians (if applicable).
- Ability to work flexibly according to client demand, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
