Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescribed medications in dossett boxes with precision, following all safety protocols and legal requirements
- Assist healthcare professionals in medication administration processes, ensuring correct dosages and patient instructions
- Provide excellent patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance on proper usage
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing activities, including documentation of any discrepancies or issues
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to verify prescriptions, stock levels, and ensure timely medication availability
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and handling medication storage securely
- Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory standards governing pharmacy operations
Experience
- Prior pharmacy experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with dispensing procedures, pharmacy software systems and MDS systems
- Experience in medication administration within healthcare settings is advantageous
- Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, safety protocols, and medication handling procedures is desirable

Working Hours
Monday-Friday: 9am-6pm (with 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak)
Saturday: To work 1 of 4 Saturdays: 9am-5:30pm (with 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak)
Salary
Between £13.50-£14 per hour depending on experience
Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
