Timings: We are looking for an SEND coach to support our team on our Saturday Camps. These run 11-3pm.
Position Type: Casual/Part-Time.

Position Overview
In this role, you will work with children of all ages and abilities, with SEND, to promote physical health, mental well-being, and social development and give respite for parents. These sessions are called Short Breaks.
Key Responsibilities
- Adaptability: Modify activities and approaches to meet the individual needs and abilities of each child, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for all participants.
- Build Relationships: Foster strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting a safe and welcoming environment.
- Monitor Progress: Track the progress of each child, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their personal goals.
- Safeguarding: Adhere to all safeguarding and health and safety policies to ensure the well-being of all participants.
Qualifications
- Experience working with SEND children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare capacity.
- Strong understanding of child development, physical education, and mental well-being practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire children of all ages.
- Ability to work flexibly, adapting to the needs of different children and environments.
- Relevant coaching or teaching qualifications are preferred.
- First Aid and Safeguarding certifications (or willingness to obtain them).
