The Role
As Head of Venue Find, you will lead the venue find team to deliver an exceptional service while driving business growth, managing the team, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Day to day responsibilities of the Head of Venue Find will include:
Lead and manage a small team of venue finders- Monitor team performance and contribute to the company's continued growth
- Take ownership of the venue find strategy and planning
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue and maximise profits including cross selling
- Maximise incoming leads and collaborate internally to develop new business
- Take lead on the overall output of the venue find department
- Ensure all events are delivered on time, within budget and to client expectations
- Oversee and continually develop client relationships
- Manage a number of key accounts and venue find projects
- Have responsibility for budgeting and commercials for the venue find team
The Candidate
To be considered for this Head of Venue Find role we are looking for candidates who can showcase a solid knowledge of the venue booking process from a corporate event environment. Candidates must be leaders, with proven experience in people or department management whilst also being commercially minded with the ability to ensure the profitability of a team.
Candidates from an event agency or venue find agency background would be preference however individuals who have experience from a conference hotel or venue environment (providing they are leading large scale group bookings) will also be considered.
